CEOP-AEGIS is a research program conducted under the European Commission FP7 framework in the scope of the priority « Improving observing systems for water resource ». It brought together a large community of scientists from 18 European and Asia countries from 2008 to 2013, and led to the production of numerous publications, reports and data-sets.
CEOP-AEGIS has been selected as a success story in the European Commission publication , "Investing in European success, A Decade of Success in Earth Observation Research and Innovation", European Commission, Luxembourg: Publications Office of the European Union, 2015 - 45 pp.
CEOP-AEGIS received the “Etoile de l'Europe”, an award of the French Ministry for Higher Eduction and Research to promote highly innovative research projects. The coordinator Prof. Massimo MENENTI received the award at the Sorbonne University, Paris, on December 13th 2013. Read more (in french)
